IBS: It’s not just about what we eat, but how it’s prepared.

Figuring out what to eat for IBS generally feels like trying to solve a jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces. After 30 years of this IBS-C digestive drama, you’d think I’d have cracked the code by now.
Spoiler alert: I haven’t!
Though I haven't cracked the code, I have discovered a few things along the way that have made a difference, but sticking to them is a whole other story. For example, food combinations matter; eating raw veggies is a no-go, sugar is death and tempts me like a sweet-talking vampire that drains my energy, leaving me craving more—until reality bites! And having meat with wine is a definite no-friggin'-go. It’s all a delicate balance, like trying to walk a straight line after spinning in circles.
Naturally, Healing my gut has taken time and patience, and I’m not interested in a quick fix unless it’s free and has zero side effects. I’ve had it with the Bloat Society pushing their miracle pills that promise to zap bloating—maybe they work for the lucky few whose guts aren’t dartboards for every possible cause of IBS! I'm not opposed to supplements; I just prefer not to be dependent on them. So, here I am in my kitchen, my mad scientist's lair of culinary experiments, where some dishes turn out fantastic, and others make me question my life choices. I've collected and modified recipes through my endless trial and error with food combinations because who knew food could be such a wild science experiment? I've got a few recipes in progress, and I'm happy to report that a couple of them are pretty sage (pun intended)—they don't bloat me, and I can even enjoy a glass of wine with them without fearing the consequences! Oh, and I've made some real "poop" strides too! Now, Biomixology is all about YOUR bio, not mine, so what works for me might not work for you. To jumpstart your journey, I've created something special for you to try, and hey, it's free to experiment with these recipes and share your thoughts! I've put together a 4-day menu, tweaked based on what's in my kitchen. And if you want to really nail it, I strongly recommend prepping a day ahead. Sorry to be the bearer of effort, but success comes from your hustle!
